Muniya Foundation is dedicated to empowering women across India by providing easy access to sanitary pads through our innovative vending machines installed in public places. With our initiative, women can access sanitary pads conveniently and free of cost, ensuring their menstrual hygiene needs are met with dignity and respect.
But we don’t stop there. Alongside our vending machines, we also install incinerators, promoting eco-friendly disposal of used pads, thus contributing to a cleaner environment and reducing health hazards.

Education: Shikha holds a research degree in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from the University of Ottawa, Canada. Her academic background has provided her with a deep understanding of the social and economic challenges faced by vulnerable communities.
Experience: With over 20 years of experience in social work, Shikha has been actively involved in various initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality, education, and healthcare. Her extensive experience has equipped her with the knowledge and expertise to design and implement effective programs that address the complex needs of poor and suppressed women and girls.
Personal Life: Shikha is a mother of two daughters, which has further fueled her commitment to creating a better future for women and girls. Her decision to return to India from Canada was driven by her desire to make a meaningful impact in her home country.
Vision: Shikha’s vision for Muniya Foundation is to create a society where women and girls are empowered, educated, and able to live with dignity. She strives to achieve this through sustainable programs, community engagement, and collaboration with like-minded organizations.
