The Directorate of Education, in collaboration with Muniya Foundation Trust—an esteemed international Non-Profit Organization accredited with Special Consultative Status in the United Nations—presents an exceptional volunteering program for Delhi’s teachers. This initiative offers teachers the chance to participate in activities aligned with flagship government initiatives and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, earning community service volunteering certification and international recognition to bolster their profiles. The program entails volunteering within school premises, organizing workshops with students and parents to raise awareness about critical issues such as malnutrition, child sexual abuse, menstrual hygiene management, gender sensitization, prevention of communicable diseases, drug and substance abuse, cyber crimes, and digital literacy.

Volunteers in this program will not only facilitate these vital educational workshops but also serve as mentors and role models for both students and the community. Their efforts will directly contribute to creating a safer, healthier, and more informed environment. By engaging in these activities, volunteers will develop valuable skills in leadership, communication, and community engagement, all while making a significant positive impact on society. This unique opportunity allows volunteers to enhance their professional profiles and gain a sense of fulfillment from their contributions to critical social causes.
